Taking the reality into account, AFAQ was set up in 1997 to provide quality education to ALL layers of society without compromising the outcomes of learning from top-level schools to lower-end ones. All aspects of learning including textbooks, teacher training, and character building was the core to improving schools with the aim of achieving model students to encompass knowledge, skills, and attitudes for everyday life without differentiating between class structures.

The founding partner’s realization that without quality education linked to the principles of Islam, was the main obstacle in the progression of Pakistan. Therefore, the basis of establishing AFAQ was laid down in its mission statement and quality policy.
